Only 28 percent of agro tourism establishments and rural hotels in the Balearics accepts pets which, according to specialist website Toprural which canvassed 9,400 properties, is the lowest figure inSpain.
The national average is 45 percent.
According to Toprural at the end of 2013, the latest figures, there were 5,4 million pet dogs and 3.8 million pet cats in Spain which means that 20 percent of the population has a pet.
