"Balconing" incident in Arenal

The incident occurred around four o'clock. The woman, staying at the Hotel Leblon, fell from the second floor and landed with great force on a car that was parked in the street. Residents and other tourists initially went to her aid but did not move her because of concerns about injuries she might have sustained. Llucmajor police arrived, moved people away and waited for the emergency medical service and the Guardia Civil.

Police believe that she fell as a result of the large amount of alcohol she had consumed.
