Since it's rare to hear British voices outside of British resorts (accounting for a tiny fraction of Mallorca), and considering that continental Europeans (Germans especially), tend to book 6 mos in advance or more, and that much of the island had been near fully booked since last year (except the British resorts, which normally only come to life around May).... ...while it's obviously good news, this sudden "leading" increase by British tourists is actually a bit behind the trend. Everybody else seems to have booked their Mallorca hols long ago. . Bookings have exceeded 2019 figures for a while now. But I suppose Magaluf and Palma Nova still have a few more bed spaces available. They need the business.
