The ‘Spotlight Voyage’, featuring former Formula 1 driver Pedro de la Rosa and members of the Aston Martin Aramco F1 team, including engineers and executives, will take place on board the Seven Seas Splendor on a 10-night voyage from 22 July 2025. In addition, representatives from Aston Martin, the luxury brand, will also participate in this exclusive voyage through a series of innovation and design workshops that will take place on board the ship.
The cruise will visit destinations with a rich history and tradition in motoring. Aston Martin’s Spotlight Voyage will depart Barcelona on 22 July 2025 and will call at Valencia, Ibiza, Palma, Marseille, Saint-Tropez, Monte Carlo, Portofino and Livorno, with a final stop at the port of Civitavecchia in Rome. In all cities, guests will be able to choose from an extensive list of unlimited excursions and cultural programmes.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises has created themed multi-day shore excursions before and after the cruise for guests who wish to extend their holiday by exploring famous racing circuits and visiting private car collections. In addition, travellers will have the chance to attend an Aston Martin Aramco F1 race weekend in Hungary after the cruise.
In Barcelona, before departing, cruise passengers will be able to enjoy three nights and four days of driving around the Montjuïc circuit and lunches and dinners in the city’s legendary restaurants.
Monte Carlo will be a particular highlight of the trip with an opportunity for guests to immerse themselves in the glamour of Monaco through a tailor-made tour. Beginning with a visit to the classic car collection, a must for motoring enthusiasts, travellers will then be able to experience the thrill of Monaco’s iconic racetrack.
An exclusive lunch follows before discovering more of the famous circuit on a walking tour and the opportunity to explore Prince Rainier’s car collection. Guests will culminate the day with a scenic helicopter flight. Back on board, guests will be able to get up close and personal with a life-size replica of one of the team’s race cars, proudly displaying the Regent logo, which will be placed on a public deck of the Seven Seas Splendor.
The ship will also house an Aston Martin simulator for guests to test their skills on a virtual circuit. The Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team Spotlight Voyage experience will be complete with ‘Race Day’ themed dishes, cocktail parties, deck parties, documentary screenings, giveaways, merchandise from both brands including hats, polo shirts, jackets and reusable water bottles in the ship’s boutique, plus special classes in the Culinary Arts Kitchen.

Largest mega cruise ship in Europe heading for Palma. Well that’s going to help the anti tourist feeling in Palma isn’t it? Thousands of tourists spewing onto the streets, spending pennies. While the giant mega cruiser’s engine ticks over in the port, spewing pollution. Oh and it will probably top up its water tanks, draining the islands valuable water supplies. Good news story? I think not :(
