The world-famous British band Depeche Mode will donate around 80,000 euros to the fight against plastic pollution in Mallorca. This contribution will go to support the Plastic Free Mallorca project of the Mallorca Preservation Foundation.
This collaboration has been made possible thanks to the Conservation Collective, a global network of environmental foundations of which Mallorca Preservation is a member. Other beneficiariesfrom the collaboration also include sister foundations Ibiza Preservation and Menorca Preservation, which lead projects to eliminate plastic in Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera.

This whole plastic thing is a complete joke! Why is it that the powers that shouldn't be, having been aware of the toxicity for at least the past 20 years, haven't just made plastic illegal - full stop!? In this time an alternative could have replaced it. There were cornstarch food caddy bags in the Borough of Greenwich back in 2004! Let me think....could it be that the plastics industry is actually ultimately owned by the usual culprits (DuPont, etc) who not only are amongst the most powerful people running this planet but also use their usual methods of convincing the NPC masses that it is their fault!!!! People need to search for the TRUE source of these problems and not the ones we're made to believe!
