It's St. Patrick's Day on Saturday, and so Santa Ponsa is holding its annual celebration - on Sunday. Featured among the music will be The Raggles, who will also be at Palma's Shamrock on Friday and Saturday. Fred Wesley played with James Brown's bands and with Parliament and Funkadelic in the 1970s. He is at Manacor's auditorium on Friday. In Arenal's Bierkönig from Friday to Sunday the beer is Majorcan - a craft beer fair.

It's Saint Paddy's Day on Friday, but Santa Ponsa will be waiting until Sunday for the celebrations. On the day itself, Shamrock on Palma's Paseo Marítimo has a night of Irish music (and some which isn't). The Balearic Symphony Orchestra season at Palma's auditorium continues this Thursday with a performance of Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 3, considered to be one of the most technically challenging concertos of them all.
