Moors and Christians battle it out in Pollensa on Thursday, and there is something of a rematch in Sant Elm on Friday. Colonia Sant Jordi has its version of the duck swim (plastic) on Sunday. Irish singer Damien Rice is at the auditorium in Palma on Thursday. The Sa Pobla Jazz Festival starts on Monday with award-winning singer Cecile McLorin Salvant. The first concert for the Pollensa Festival is on Saturday.

One of the craziest of all fiesta occasions is the Mucada in Sineu on Monday. The famous duck swim of Can Picafort and one of the most spectacular of fireworks displays on Tuesday. Massive evening/night of events in Porreres on Wednesday, including demons' fire-runs (also in Alaro). Fiestas elsewhere in the likes of Cala San Vicente and S'Illot. An absolutely packed week.

Fiestas in the likes of Cala d'Or, Cala Ratjada and Can Picafort. In Llucmajor, the "cavallets cotoners" dance for Santa Candida on Sunday. The Pollensa Music Festival and Sa Pobla Jazz Festival continue. Michael Bolton plays Palma on Saturday.Please note that fireworks displays are subject to possible cancellation because of the weather conditions. Notifications are being made on a daily basis.

The Moors and Christians in Pollensa on Wednesday evening (and in Sant Elm on Friday night). The Sa Pobla Jazz Festival starts with the Ernie Watts Quartet this Monday; there are concerts every evening. The Pollensa Music Festival kicks off on Saturday. It's the Tramuntana Rocks Festival all-nighter in Esporles on Saturday, and another all-nighter is on Friday in Can Picafort - the Nit de l'Auba is perhaps the most legendary of Majorca's summer fiesta night parties. In Port Adriano on Friday, they're loving the '90s with Ace of Base, Snap! and others.
