Santa Ponsa's Rei en Jaume fiestas start on Thursday. Vilafranca's melon fair and fest from Thursday, including the melon battle on Saturday afternoon. Fiestas for Saint Bartholomew the Apostle, with Soller's remarkable Esclatabutzes demons presenting their latest spectacular on Sunday and the odd "rodelles" spinning fire crackers in Montuiri on Wednesday. One of the most famous of all-night music events - Rock 'n' Rostoll - returns to its field near Maria de la Salut on Saturday. Axwell & Ingrosso bring the BH Stage season to a close on Thursday. And there are three evenings with the Moscow Ballet at Palma Auditorium from Friday.

One of the craziest of all fiesta occasions is the Mucada in Sineu on Monday. The famous duck swim of Can Picafort and one of the most spectacular of fireworks displays on Tuesday. Massive evening/night of events in Porreres on Wednesday, including demons' fire-runs (also in Alaro). Fiestas elsewhere in the likes of Cala San Vicente and S'Illot. An absolutely packed week.

Fiestas in the likes of Cala d'Or, Cala Ratjada and Can Picafort. In Llucmajor, the "cavallets cotoners" dance for Santa Candida on Sunday. The Pollensa Music Festival and Sa Pobla Jazz Festival continue.
